The best Minecraft skins for 2021

Looking for the best Minecraft skins on offer? Why wouldn't you be! There are nearly as many skins nowadays as there are Minecraft players, and it's easy to create your own from scratch or take another existing skin and alter it to better suit you.

Below we've collected and presented 64 of the best Minecraft skins we've come across in our time spent playing Minecraft, along with a download link for each one so you can quickly get to showing off your new colours in-game.

On this page:

Girl Minecraft skins

A front and back view of the Autumn Minecraft skin.

Autumn Girl skin

One of my favourite Minecraft skins on this list, Autumn Girl is just unbearably cute, with her little cap perfectly rounding off her wonderfully-designed, colour-coordinated autumn outfit.

A front and back view of the Wander Minecraft skin.

Wander skin

The big blue bow and brilliantly textured brown hair of this lovely Wander girl skin are the standout elements here. And the peach cardigan is similarly detailed, making the whole skin very easy on the eyes.

A front and back view of the Bunny Girl Minecraft skin.

Bunny Girl skin

There's something so endearing about the two symmetrical locks of hair falling down from this Bunny Girl's face. That and the little ears on the sides of the hoodie really make this particular Minecraft skin.

A front and back view of the Plum Girl Minecraft skin.

Plum Girl skin

Another very colour-coordinated Minecraft skin, Plum Girl is much more vibrant than most, helping you to stand out from any Minecraft crowd.

A front and back view of the Marina Minecraft skin.

Marina skin

This is a fairly simple skin illustrating a brunette with long hair wearing a blue shawl. What sets it apart from the many similar skins out there is the texturing on the hair and the shawl itself. It just looks really, really good.

A front and back view of the Gamer Girl Minecraft skin.

Gamer Girl skin

This Gamer Girl Minecraft skin is one of the most popular skins out there. It's cute, it's well-designed, and with the grass block on her front and the Creeper face on her back, there's no doubt what this gamer girl is sitting down to play.

A front and back view of the Red Creeper Girl Minecraft skin.

Red Creeper Girl skin

Red and black is such a good combination. That's certainly the opinion of whoever created this Red Creeper Girl skin of a redhead wearing a black Creeper hoodie with a red Creeper face on the back.

A front and back view of the Dino Girl Minecraft skin.

Dino Girl skin

Simple and adorable, this Dino Girl skin is bound to help you stand out from the crowd in any Minecraft world. The rainbow socks are a particularly nice touch.

That really is America's ass. Lead the Avengers on their next death-defying caper as Captain America himself. Now all you need is a Resource Pack that turns shields to vibranium.

A front and back view of the Spiderman Minecraft skin.

Spiderman skin

Mr Stark, it smells like a new car in here! It may not give you the ability to shoot webs from your wrists (you'll probably need some Minecraft mods for that!), you'll certainly look the part with this instantly recognisable skin.

Ms Natasha Romanoff has changed her looks a number of times over the course of the MCU, but this skin brings back the classic red hair from when we first saw Black Widow in Iron Man 2.

A front and back view of the Hawkeye Minecraft skin.

Hawkeye skin

A worthy skin for those handy with a bow in Minecraft. There was also a skin specifically for Endgame's Hawkeye, but it wasn't quite as recognisable as this one is.

Download link: Hawkeye skin

A front and back view of the Thanos Minecraft skin.

Thanos skin

That smile really is infectious, isn't it? Conquer half the Minecraft universe as the ultimate MCU villain, clad in his nigh-indestructible Uru armour. I feel sorry for any lowly Minecraft mobs that attempt to take down the leader of the Black Order.

Few Minecraft skins make me laugh out loud, but this Homer Simpson skin was definitely one of them. Amazing work to whoever made this one.

Doctor Who skin (10th Doctor)

Download link: Doctor Who skin

A front and back view of the John Wick Minecraft skin.

John Wick skin

A great skin for injecting fear into the hearts of your enemies as they realise that John Wick, Baba Yaga himself, is after them. The suit and tie are perfect, as are the little blood pixels dotted about his face and cuff.

Videogame Minecraft skins

A front and back view of the Among Us Minecraft skin.

There's an Among Us skin of every colour on the MinecraftSkins site, but to me, for some reason, pink is just the colour of Among Us. Look at that face. Think about how much deception is going on behind that mask.

Skins are a type of cosmetic that change the visual design of its respective class's weapon by giving it a new weapon model and a different color palette for its effects. Certain skins can also change the sound effects of a class. Many skins are direct replicas of similar weapons from other media, such as Destiny, Metal Gear Rising, Marvel Vs. Capcom I, Monster Hunter, Overwatch, and Devil May Cry.

Skins can be equipped for multiple classes simultaneously, but each class can only have one skin equipped at a time.

Back 4 Blood: How To Unlock Every New Weapon Skin

Players can defeat zombies in style inBack 4 Blood with the option to customize weapons in-game and in the practice range with attachments and buying or unlocking weapon skins. Unlike other games with cosmetic items, Back 4 Blood doesn't allow players to spend real-world currency on weapon skins, with the exception of pre-ordering or skins added with DLCs. Every base-game weapon skin must either be purchased through supply lines or unlocked through Accomplishments.

Players can earn supply points in Back 4 Blood by completing campaign missions in multiplayer. These points are accrued every mission, and the number of points earned scales with the chosen difficulty level. After accruing enough points, players can then purchase supply lines in Fort Hope.

Related: Back 4 Blood: Golden Skull Guide (Locations & Rewards)

Normally, supply lines are used to purchase new Back 4 Blood cards; however other rewards are earned after purchasing every item in a supply line. Some of these rewards include clothing pieces and, more importantly, weapon skins. Players should keep in mind that not every supply line will have a chance to earn a weapon skin, and it may take a while for any skins to be unlocked.

Ways To Earn and Equip Weapon Skins in Back 4 Blood

Apart from supply lines, players can also earn weapon skins through Back 4 Blood's Accomplishments system. By completing various challenges, such as finding certain items or getting a specific number of kills with a specific weapon, players will be rewarded with various cosmetic items, including weapon skins.

Challenges aren't easily earned, and players can expect to sink a lot of time into the game just to get a specific skin. Challenges can't be completed in single-player, either. Just as with supply points, players must play multiplayer co-op in Back 4 Blood in order to complete challenges and earn more weapon skins.

Players who pre-ordered Back 4 Blood before it was released were thanked with the Fort Hope Elite Weapon Skin Pack. The skin pack added a military-green camouflage skin for the M4 Carbine Rifle, 870 Express Shotgun, Uzi SMG, and RPK LMG. Currently, these are the only weapon skins that can't be unlocked or bought at a supply line.

Players can equip weapon skins at a tent near Back 4 Blood's practice range. By speaking with the NPC in the tent, players can use any weapon skins they've unlocked and view any weapon skins they haven't unlocked yet. Like many cosmetic items in other games, weapon skins don't provide any gameplay advantage and are a purely cosmetic feature to allow players to customize their loadouts.

Next: Back 4 Blood Needs A Versus Campaign

Back 4 Blood is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

[Top 10] Minecraft Best Sword Enchantments

The trusty Minecraft sword is possibly one of the most used tools in the game, your primary defense against all the monsters of the night and the bosses of the game.

This article will take you through the 10 best enchantments to make your sword the best it can be

10. Bane of Arthropods

Bane of Arthropods is an enchantment that lets your sword do bonus damage to spiders

What makes Bane of Arthropods great for swords:

  • Allows you to more easily kill one of the most mobile and jumpy mobs in the game

Allows you to fully one-shot any spider if you also have any other damage enchantments

9. Smite

Smite is an enchantment that allows your sword to do more damage to zombies

What makes Smite good for swords:

  • Allows you to deal more damage to the most common enemy of the game
  • Very useful for taking on dungeons, which most often contain zombie spawners

8. Curse of Vanishing

One of the weirder enchantments, this enchantment causes your sword to disappear completely after death instead of falling to the ground

What makes Curse of Vanishing good for swords:

  • This enchantment is more so useful as a strategy enchantment if your playing against other players, to prevent them from obtaining your powerful sword if they kill you

  • This is also a great enchantment for mapmakers, allowing the mapmaker to manipulate the weapons that the player holds onto

7. Sweeping Edge

Sweeping edge is one of the newest enchantments that increases the damage done by a fully charged sword attack

What makes Sweeping Edge great for swords:

  • Makes the fully charged sword attack even more powerful then it already is
  • Encourages the player to be patient and wait between attacks to maximize damage

6. Unbreaking

Unbreaking is an enchantment that increases the number of hits your sword can do before it breaks

What makes Unbreaking great for swords:

  • Allows you to use your swords more before needing to replace them
  • Is great on more valuable swords, such as diamond swords, so they won’t break as easily and you won’t need to use more diamonds to replace it

5. Fire Aspect

Fire Aspect is an enchantment that sets your target on fire after you hit them

What makes Fire Aspect great for swords:

  • Deals a lot of extra burn damage to any enemies
  • If you kill an animal with this sword, they’ll drop cooked meat so you don’t have to cook it manually

4. Knockback

Knockback is an enchantment that knockbacks any foe that you hit with it

What makes Knockback great for swords:

  • Really good for fighting hordes of monsters, because the enchantment will knock them all away and prevent them from overwhelming you
  • Knocking back enemies also allows you to reposition yourself during the fight and even run away if it's getting a bit too hairy

3. Looting

Looting is an enchantment that causes any mobs you kill to drop more of its loot than it would normally

What makes Looting great for swords:

  • Doubles the amount of stuff you get from any mobs, and increases the chance of getting more rare loot
  • Doubles the amount of drops you get from animals, so you get double the food

2. Mending

Mending is an enchantment that will automatically repair your sword over time

What makes Mending great for swords:

  • This is basically an upgraded version of Unbreaking, only this one guarantees that your sword can never break
  • This is amazing to put on a tool that is extremely valuable, one that already has a bunch of other enchantments on and is way too good to have break

1. Sharpness

Sharpness is an enchantment that causes your sword to deal more damage to everything

What makes Sharpness great for swords:

  • Allows you to make quick work out of simple mobs like Zombies and Skeletons
  • Is amazing and almost completely necessary for taking on the bosses of the game, like The Wither and the Ender Dragon

Minecraft Netherite tools - all the items and weapons you can craft with Netherite

Having a set of Minecraft Netherite tools at your disposal not only looks cool, but they're also tougher than Diamond and can survive being dropped in lava without getting lost. The Minecraft Nether update made these items a possibility, though you'll have to put in a decent amount of work if you want to craft a set for yourself, as Minecraft doesn't just hand them out on a plate. Don't stress though, because we're here to explain exactly how you can go about getting some Minecraft Netherite tools to call your own.

If you don't know how to get Netherite in the first place, follow our complete guide on Minecraft Netherite for beginners!

Minecraft commands | Best Minecraft servers | Minecraft Realms | Best Minecraft seeds | Best Minecraft mods | Best Minecraft shaders | Best Minecraft skins | Best Minecraft texture packs | Play Minecraft for free | Minecraft enchanting | Minecraft house | Minecraft Nether update | Minecraft Netherite armor

How to craft Minecraft Netherite tools

So you've managed to get yourself some Netherite in Minecraft. Question is, how do you turn those Netherite ingots into useable tools?

Firstly, you need to ensure you have the Netherite tool you desire, but in Diamond form. Want a Netherite Sword? Make a Diamond Sword first. Simple.

To upgrade it to Netherite, you need to get your hands on a Smithing Table. This is a block that has been in the game for over a year, but until now has had no functionality except to provide a job for a Villager. Now however, Smithing Tables are crucial to create Netherite equipment.

You can craft a Smithing Table with two Iron Ingots at the top of a 3x3 crafting grid, with four wooden planks below them, taking up a 2x3 space in total. Alternatively, you can take them from villages.

To turn your Diamond equipment into Netherite, you need to have one single Netherite Ingot. Use the Smithing Table, put your Diamond tool on the left-most square, and the ingot on the next. This will create a Netherite tool, which is stronger, faster, and more durable than anything Diamond. What's interesting is that in the pre-release of the Nether Update, creating a Netherite tool would repair all durability but not carry over enchantments, but now it works in the opposite way. Enchantments will carry over, but you'll need to repair it with an anvil to fix the durability.

This is the first time Minecraft has introduced an upgrade system rather than having to craft an entirely new item.  Perhaps the most interesting thing about Netherite is that it floats when in lava, which means that you can't accidentally throw it away or lose it when you die to the fiery pits of hell. As long as you pick it up within the five minute timeframe, you'll be able to rescue all your Netherite items.

Other Netherite uses

Alongside tools and armor, Netherite can also be used for two other things. The first is to power beacons. Simply insert a Netherite ingot in the same way you would any other power source and it will work. The issue here is that since Netherite ingots are such a pain to obtain, this isn't an effective use when you can use a stack of Iron ingots instead.

Of course, you can also combine nine Netherite ingots together to make a Netherite block. This is solely a decorative item to show off the fact you have more Netherite than you need, to flex your wealth on any visitors you may have.

One of the resident guide writers around these parts, give me a game and I will write every "how to" I possibly can or die trying. When I'm not knee-deep in a game to write guides on, you'll find me hurtling round the track in F1 2020, flinging balls on my phone in Pokemon Go, pretending to know what I'm doing in Football Manager 2020, clicking on heads in Valorant, or mowing down hordes of enemies in Outriders.
