SEE Detailed property tax report for 6886 Del Rosa Drive, San Bernardino County, CA

The California Constitution mandates that all property is subject to taxation unless otherwise exempted by state or federal law. Proposition 13, enacted in 1978, forms the basis for the current property tax laws.

Assessed value is calculated based on market value using a base year value. A property's original base value is its 1975-1976 market value and can be adjusted each year by no more than 2% to account for inflation. However, if there has been a change in ownership or completed new construction, the new assessed value will be the market value of the property as of the date that if changed ownership or was newly constructed.

The base year for this property's market value is: 1983.

Taxable value represents the assessed value less any tax exemptions that apply. The County of San Bernardino provides a variety of full and partial tax savings programs that may lower the property's tax bill.

This property is currently fully exempted from paying property taxes.

Base tax is calculated by multiplying the property's assessed value by all the tax rates applicable to it and is an estimate of what an owner not benefiting from any exemptions would pay.
The tax rates are expressed as dollars per 100 of assessed value, therefore the tax amount is already divided by 100 in order to obtain the correct value.

Notice that we used 2020-2021 tax rates since 2021-2022 values are not available yet.

Current tax is an estimate of what the present owner pays including exemptions.

This map shows property tax in correlation with square footage of the property.
