Jedi fallen order chapter 5 DEFAULT

Dathomir first visit

In this Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order guide, we’ll show you how and where to find every chest and secret location on Dathomir’s map.

You won’t be able to access every area, open every chest, or reach every secret on your first trip to Fallen Order’s planets. Exploration, leveling up, and backtracking with your new skills are part of the design.

Given that, we’ve organized our collectibles guides based on the powers and abilities that you need to access chests and secrets. The first section below covers your first visit. Subsequent sections cover return trips, when you can reach once unreachable items.

Since you can go to Dathomir quite early in the game (though we don’t really suggest you do), we’ll assume that on your first visit, you only have the wall run ability. We’ll focus only on the chests and secrets you can get with that in this first section.

Upper Strangled Cliffs chest map

Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

There are two chests in the Upper Strangled Cliffs. You’ll be able to open one of them if you only have wall run (see below for the second one).

Chest 1 // BD-1 skin

  • Yavin Prime BD-1 skin Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Yavin Prime BD-1 skin Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Yavin Prime BD-1 skin Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

Fight your way through the bane back spiders, and up and to the right of the Upper Strangled Cliffs. This chest is on a ledge all by itself.

Brother’s Bastion chests and secret map

Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

There are two chests and one secret in Brother’s Bastion on Dathomir. Assuming you can survive the fights against the tough enemies here, you can pick them all up with only the wall run ability.

Chest 1 // Mantis paint job

  • Racer Mantis paint job Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Racer Mantis paint job Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Racer Mantis paint job Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

As you fight your way through the Nightbrothers in Brother’s Bastion, you’ll find this chest on a walkway outside. It’s right along the main path, so it’s hard to miss.

Chest 2 // Lightsaber switch

  • Magus lightsaber switch Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Magus lightsaber switch Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Magus lightsaber switch Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

Shortly after the first chest, you’ll drop into a large building. This chest is on the floor level, just to the left of the exit.

Secret 1 // Life essence

  • Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

Continue along the tunnel to the right of the workbench in Brother’s Bastion. Climb up the wall at the end, and you’ll find this secret on a ledge outside.

The story won’t point you to Dathomir until you’ve completed the Tomb of Miktrull on Zeffo. For the remaining chests and secrets, we’ll assume that you have all of the abilities that lead you to that point: Force push, Forcepull, and BD’s scomp link.

Strangled Cliffs secret map

Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

There is only one secret to find in the Strangled Cliffs. You’ll need Force push to reach it.

Secret 1 // Life essence

  • To reach this secret, start in the Upper Strangled Cliffs above the locked door. Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Look for this Force push-able box. Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Secret 1’s location. Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Climb the vines around the wall to reach the secret (and unlock the door). Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

To reach this secret, you’ll technically need to start in the Upper Strangled Cliffs. Walk along the narrow walkway away from the Mantis until you’re just past the locked door on your left. Turn left and look for a Force pushable box. (This step is the first two images in the gallery above.)

Push the box back into the room there two times, until it reaches the back. Then, push it to the left so it falls into the hallway below.

Push the box two more times until it reaches the doorway end of the hall. Climb on top, and use the vines(?) to climb up and around the wall. You’ll drop off the other side behind the locked door (that you can unlock from this side), right next to this secret.

Upper Strangled Cliffs chest map

Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

There’s one more chest in the Upper Strangled Cliffs. You might’ve spotted it earlier, but you need the scomp link to unlock it.

Chest 1 // Lightsaber emitter

  • Magus lightsaber emitter Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Magus lightsaber emitter Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Magus lightsaber emitter Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

This locked chest is behind a wall near the top of the Upper Strangled Cliffs. You’ll have to fight a few back bane spiders to reach it.

Collapsed Settlement chest map

There is only one chest to pick up in the Collapsed settlement.

Chest 1 // Power and Control lightsaber sleeve

  • Power and Control lightsaber sleeve Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Power and Control lightsaber sleeve Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Power and Control lightsaber sleeve Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Power and Control lightsaber sleeve Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

After Brother’s Bastion, you’ll slide down into the Collapsed Settlement. Once you climb back up to the top of the area, just before you exit, look for a elevator platform. Ride it down to unlock a shortcut and find this chest.

Nightbrother Village chest map

There is one chest to pick up in the Nightbrother Village.

Chest 1 // Aphelion Mantis paint job

  • Aphelion Mantis paint job Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Aphelion Mantis paint job Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Aphelion Mantis paint job Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Aphelion Mantis paint job Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

When you enter the Nightbrother Village, clear out the enemies, and then look to the platforms on the left. There is a pushable box at the top. Climb up to that box, and Force push the box back down the stairs. Push it again against the wall where you’ll find some ledges to climb up. Head through the window, and drop into the hallway on the other side. Take out the Nightbrother, and turn right for this chest.

Nightbrother Dungeon chests map

Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

After you pull down the bridge in the Nightbrother Village, you’ll open a path underneath into the Nightbrothers Dungeon. There are two chests to collect there.

  • Power and Control 2 lightsaber switch Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

In the center of the large arena-like area where you fought the nydak and found both earlier chests, look for a stone ramp that leads back toward the meditation circle. Run up, and jump to the branch above. Turn left, and then take the right fork. Continue onto another branch, and jump over the large tree trunk to find the third chest.

Witches Horn chest and secret map

Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

There is one chest and one secret in Witch’s Horn. You’d be forgiven for missing them on your first visit here, since it’ll be in the middle of your battle with Gorgara.

Chest 1 // Day of the Dianoga BD-1 skin

  • Day of the Dianoga BD-1 skin Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Day of the Dianoga BD-1 skin Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

Secret 1 // Force essence

  • Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
  • Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

At the top of the same rock wall where you find the stairs to chest 1, turn right.

Chest 1 // Smuggler Mantis paint job

  • Smuggler Mantis paint job Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

CHAPTER 1 - Prologue, Bracca and Bogano

1. The Journey Begins

Cal Kestis, a former Jedi Padawan, has been hiding out on Bracca since Order Cal joined a scrapping crew and lived in hiding for years, but blew his cover when he used the Force to save his friend Prauf from a deadly fall. This prompted the ruthless Second and Ninth Sisters to attack him. Cal was narrowly saved by two mysterious individuals: Cere Junda and Greez Dritus. Now, they find themselves on the remote planet Bogano, ready to discover the secrets of an ancient Vault

2. Rebuilding The Jedi Order

After revealing she no longer uses the Force, Cere sent Cal to an ancient Vault. Along the way, Cal found a friendly droid named BD-1 who joined his quest. On their journey, Cal reached out to the Force, remembering his ability to Wall Run. Inside the Vault, BD projected a message from Master Eno Cordova detailing how he hid a holocron containing a list of known Force-sensitive children within. To access it, Cal must find the tombs of three Zeffo Sages. With BD's aid, Cal embarks on a journey to rebuild the Jedi Order

CHAPTER 2 - Zeffo and The Tomb Of Eilram, Dathomir

1. The Eye Of The Storm

The crew traveled to the Zeffo homeworld, searching for the tombs Cordova mentioned. They learned the Empire occupied Zeffo in order to mine ancient artifacts. The directive, codenamed Project Auger, was terminated after Zeffo's magnetic winds proved too difficult to deal with. Now, Cal and BD find themselves inside an ancient Zeffo Tomb looking for messages from Cordova

2. The Tomb Of Eilram

In the eye of an enormous storm, Cal and BD-1 found the Tomb of Eilram. Inside, Cal saw a vision of his former Master, Jaro Tapal, which helped him rediscover his ability to Push objects with the Force. As they were leaving, Cal and BD found another holo from Cordova pointing them to Kashyyyk

3. Strangers

After landing on Dathomir, Cal and BD-1 faced off against a Nightsister who demanded they leave the planet immediately. When they refused, she commanded Nightbrothers to attack them. Shortly after escaping that threat, Cal and BD-1 came upon a Wanderer, who claimed to be studying Zeffo ruins. Who he is and what's become of the Nightsister remain to be seen

CHAPTER 3 - Kashyyyk and Free Wookiees, Zeffo and Tomb Of Miktrull

1. A Fateful Meeting

While descending into Kashyyyk's atmosphere, the Mantis crew became embroiled in a skirmish between Imperial forces and freedom fighters. Believing Wookiee Chieftain Tarfful could be among them, Cal jumped ship and hijacked an AT-AT, piloting it right into the infamous insurgent Saw Gerrera! Saw and his fighters were in the middle of a campaign to liberate a nearby wroshyr sap refinery. With the possibility that Tarfful could be one of the Wookiees detained there, Cal and BD-1 agreed to help him.

2. New Allies

After freeing the imprisoned Wookiees and taking the refinery from the Empire, Cal still had no information on Tarfful's whereabouts. Luckily Choyyssyk, one of the Wookiees Cal helped liberate, had fought alongside Tarfful in the past. He and Mari Kosan, a member of Saw's guerilla fighters, agreed to find Tarfful for Cal. However, just as he received this news, Cere discovered an Imperial transmission revealing the Empire was close to unearthing another tomb on Zeffo

3. The Second Sister's Origin

While it was true that the Empire was closing in on the Tomb of Miktrull, Cal rushed to Zeffo to find himself caught in a trap laid by the Second Sister. She revealed herself to be Trilla, Cere's former Padawan. After a perilous battle, Trilla seemed to get the upper hand on Cal but before she could strike him down, BD-1 intervened - positioning an unbreakable laser field between Trilla and Cal. As Cal escaped into Miktrull's Tomb, he tried to call Cere but was interrupted by Trilla slicing his comm.

4. The Tomb Of Miktrull

In another ploy to kill Cal, Trilla lured him onto a hanging sarcophagus and instructed her forces to shoot it down. In that moment, Cal regained the ability to Pull his lightsaber and narrowly escaped. On their way out of the tomb, Cal and BD found another encrypted log from Cordova, explaining the key to the Bogano Vault is a device called the Zeffo Astrium. To access the Vault, they'll need to find one. Before he could return to the ship Cal was captured by a bounty hunter. Who they work for remains a mystery

CHAPTER 4 - Ordo Eris Prison, Kashyyyk and meeting with Tarfful, Ninth Sister

1. Fractured Trust

Trapped by the infamous Sorc Tormo, Cal and BD were forced to fight fearsome creatures. During the show, the Mantis burst into the Haxion Brood's lair to rescue them. The reunion was an unhappy one, however. Cal learned the Brood found him because Greez lied about paying off his debts. Even worse, Cal was still reeling from his discovery that Cere had given up Trilla under torture. Cere and Cal's argument was cut short by a transmission from Mari Kosan, who'd found Tarfful in Kashyyyk's Shadowlands

2. Diverging Paths

After a talk from Greez, Cal and BD set off to find Mari and Tarfful. While Cal was fighting the Brood, Trilla led an attack to destroy their resistance. A rift formed between Mari and Saw, splitting their forces in two; Saw had since left the planet. After fighting their way through the recaptured refinery, Cal and BD met Mari, Tarfful, and Choyyssyk. Tarfful told Cal to climb the Origin Tree and Mari gave Cala breather to help him get there. The two groups parted ways. Now Cal must climb the Origin Tree

3. Fall of The Ninth Sister

On the way up the Origin Tree, Cal and BD encountered the Shyyyo Bird. After saving himself from a deadly fall with Jedi Flip, Cal and BD rode the Shyyyo to the top. They discovered two things: Cordova found a Zeffo Astrium there years before, and a Zeffo tomb on Dathomir might hold another. Just as they were leaving, the Ninth Sister attacked! A fierce battle ensued, but Cal won by pushing the Ninth Sister off the tree. The grateful Shyyyo Bird gave Cal and BD a ride down. Now their hopes rest on finding an Astrium on Dathomir

CHAPTER 5 - Dathomir and Taron Malicos, Ilum, Dathomir and Tomb of Kujet, Merrin

1. The Swamps Of Dathomir

Cal and BD nearly made it to the next tomb when they were ambushed by Nightbrothers. While the two were safe, they were forced to wander through the dangerous Dathomirian swamps. They were once again found by the Nightsister Merrin who began raising undead Nightsisters to attack them as they traveled. Inside a dark cave, BD found Climbing Claws on a Nightbrother corpse - just as the dreaded Gorgara came home to roost. During the fight, Gorgara snatched them into an aerial battle, culminating in a crash that killed the batlike beast

2. Shadow Of The Master

Cal and BD found their way to the ruins, where Cal faced a dark version of Jaro Tapal. This phantom shattered Cal's lightsaber, leaving him defenseless. Cal and BD fled the ruin, running into the Wanderer. He revealed himself as Taron Malicos, a former Jedi now studying the dark side. Malicos asked Cal to join his quest for power, but was cut off by Merrin. She raised a horde of undead to destroy him and Cal. Cal and BD rushed back to the Mantis. After Cal's confession about Order 66, Cere says it's time for him to build his own lightsaber

3. Reforged

Cere gifted Cal her lightsaber hilt, though her kyber crystal had been sold long ago to pay for Greez's debts. Inside the caves, Cal followed the call of his crystal through a crack in an ice wall. The ice beneath Cal and BD shattered, sending Cal plummeting into icy water. BD saved Cal just in time, but the crystal split in two. That triggered a log from Cordova, revealing BD sacrificed his memories to store logs vital to Cal's quest. Cal combined Cere's and Jaro's hilts, creating a lightsaber with single, double, and dual-wield capabilities.

4. The Escape

On their way out of the caves, Cal discovered a massive Imperial mining operation on llum - designed to extract the planet's kyber crystals. As Cal and BD fought their way back to the Mantis, Cere used Trilla's trick from Miktrull's Tomb to prevent the Empire from calling reinforcements. The Empire eventually reversed the slice, but it gave Cal and BD enough time to get back to the Mantis. Now, with his lightsaber reforged, Cal must return to Dathomir and face the dark side once again

5. Laid To Rest

Cal returned to face the shade of Jaro Tapal. He realized the only way to defeat Jaro was to embrace his past and move forward. He knelt before Jaro's spectre, causing the apparition to vanish. As Cal and BD moved into the Tomb of Kujet, they came upon Merrin. This time, however, she was willing to talk. Cal learned that she might be the only survivor of the Nightsister massacre carried out by General Grievous during the Clone Wars. Merrin learned about the Jedi purge and Cal disavowed Malicos as a fallen Jedi.

6. A New Ally

Merrin allowed Cal to pass, warning that Malicos was ahead. Malicos tried one last time to turn Cal, but attacked when he refused. It appears Malicos would win but Merrin intervened, blasting Malicos with magick. They worked together to defeat Malicos. After, Cal revealed that he came to Dathomir for an Astrium. Merrin agreed to help him, and they found one in Kujet's Tomb. Desiring more knowledge of the galaxy and a future for her people, Merrin joined Cal's quest. Together, the crew stands ready to return to Bogano and find the holocron

CHAPTER 6 - Bogano, Fortress Inquisitorius, Ending

1. The Lost Holocron

Cal and BD brought the Astrium to the Vault and found the holocron. Cal was swept into a vision. Younglings training, only to be ambushed by the Empire! A battle, death, torture, Cal as an Inquisitor. When he awoke, Trilla stood before him. Cal pulled her lightsaber, thrusting him into a Force echo: Cere and Trilla tortured, Trilla's turn, Cere's escape. When he returned, Trilla and the holocron were gone. Cal ran back to the ship and told Cere. She reached out to the Force, took up Trilla's lightsaber and knighted Cal

2. The Final Battle

Cal, BD, and Cere infiltrated the Fortress Inquisitorius as Merrin cloaked the Mantis. Trilla waited for them inside, where she and Cal had a climactic battle and Cal took back the holocron. Cere stepped in and apologized for the pain she caused Trilla. Just as it seemed the plea might reach her, Darth Vader appeared and murdered Trilla. Cere and Calran for their lives. Vader nearly trapped them, but Cere used the Force to protect Cal. A favor he returned once the Fortress flooded. Merrin and Greez rescued them and the holocron.

3. An Uncertain Future

Once the holocron was safely on board the Mantis, Cal made the decision to destroy it. Whatever future awaits the crew, the children inside will remain safe

This part of the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Walkthrough begins on a new planet, Ilum, the planet where Younglings used to pick up their kyber crystal to build their own lightsabers. This is also Cal&#;s objective here since his master&#;s lightsaber was destroyed during a vision in the Zeffo tomb. Get out of the ship and head towards the left arch (picture1) to discover the Jedi Temple (picture2). Progress under strong winds until you reach a crack in the ice (picture3).

picture1
picture2
picture3

Slip inside and then climb the mountain on the left (picture4). Follow the path until you can climb the very facade of the temple, and reach a small ledge on the left (picture5). Enter the temple and use the Force Pull to catch a rope that opens a round door. Attach the rope to the right pillar (picture6), and make a wall run through the door.

picture4
picture5
picture6

Now that you are in the heart of the Jedi Temple, you can see a huge crystal hanging in the middle of the room (picture7). Get down on the platform below and use the Force Pull to attract the golden Jedi device to you (picture8). Then grab the rope that controls a new door and attach it to the device as shown in the picture below (picture9).

picture7
picture8
picture9

Now grab the rope attached to the giant crystal to orient it so that the sun&#;s rays can be concentrated on the right ice wall (picture10). Once the latter has melted (picture11), push the Jedi device back to its original position, and cross using the rope under the crystal. Attach the crystal rope to the mechanism (picture12), and pass through the opening you melted to reach the upper part of the room.

picture10
picture11
picture12

From this position, use the Force to move the Jedi device to the right (picture13) in order to place the crystal perfectly in the center of the room. All you have to do is grab the rope controlling the opening of the door to let a ray of sunlight pass through the crystal and melt the ice blocking your progress towards the Crystal Caves (picture14).

picture13
picture14

Now go down to the opening you have just melted to discover a Meditation Point (picture15). Continue to a completely flooded area (picture16), and swim to the other side where you can resurface. Follow the gallery until you finally reach the Crystal Caves where you can see your Kyber crystal in the distance (picture17).

picture15
picture16
picture17

Take the right path (picture18) and, at the end, drop below where there is a narrow beam (picture19). Continue your way up to an ice slope that forces you to do a wall run, and then hang on to a rock wall (picture20).

picture18
picture19
picture20

You then arrive at a new Meditation Point (picture21). Then pass through the opening between the two Jedi statues (picture22), and progress through the cave until you come across a probe droid (picture23). Since you no longer have a lightsaber, use the Force Pull and Push to smash the robot against a wall or use BD-1 to hack it.

picture21
picture22
picture23

Progress until you reach a new cave (picture24) where two new probe droids are located. Take the right path to find two walls where you can make wall runs (picture25), and then use the Force Push to drop a huge rock (picture26).

picture24
picture25
picture26

Then climb the ice wall on your left (picture27), and dive into the small pool below (picture28). Go up to the end and climb the ice wall to reach a narrow opening in the rock (picture29).

picture28
picture29

Slip inside to trigger a long cutscene. At the end of the latter, approach the table on your left (picture30), and choose the color of your Kyber crystals (picture31) (you can then change it at will on a workbench). Cal then forges two lightsabers, unlocking the Split Saber ability (picture32), and this event marks the end of this part of our Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Guide.

You'll begin by climbing for a bit until you reach the first area. There's a big monster and a big area to explore, so let's ignore the beast and look around. If you don't want to explore, head to the area on the map:

And Wall Run up. Keep on heading for higher ground, and eventually you'll reach the top of the area, along with a rope you can cut for a shortcut back down.

Activate the shortcut, then keep going to meet the Nightsister. She's not particularly happy to meet you, though, and she'll send the Nightbrothers after you. Nightbrothers are essentially reskinned Stormtroopers, so you don't have to do anything different to defeat them.

The door will be locked, so continue the other way.

Enemies will be hiding behind doorways a lot on Dathomir, so be ready at all times.

Defeat the next set of Night brothers, then head up the stairs. There will be another Nightbrother in the narrow corridor, making it hard to dodge him. Be careful!

Keep making your way forward, cutting through the Nightbrothers. At one point you'll reach an area with a campfire that looks like a dead end, but you can Wall Run and jump for the branch to keep going.

Finally, you'll jump down and find a door to open for a shortcut, as well as a fork in the road.

If you haven't explored Dathomir already, you can head down for a workbench, where you'll get a new lightsaber sleeve. There is also a Life Essence at the end of the path.

When you're ready, head back to the fork and jump across, talking to the Wanderer about the Nightsister and the ruins in the area. Once the cutscene is done, jump across the gap (it requires the Jedi Flip) and keep going until Cal mentions needing equipment to climb the wall.

There's no time to find any, though, as a Nightbrother throws a huge rock down on the bridge, destroying it with you on it. Get through the sliding bit. The Nightbrother said this was a swamp but we're not actually there yet.

Detour Down to the Swamp

Video Guide - Part 22

Climb up the vine and the rope, and you'll come across a Meditation Point. The door directly ahead is locked, so insead turn the other way go to the unexplored path on the map.

You'll come across the Nightsister again, and this time she'll make undead sisters spawn from the fleshy bulbs above you. Yikes. Take them out (be careful, they're pretty fast), then Pull on the nearby gate to be able to move forward.

The undead sisters can lock you into a grapple, and it'll allow other enemies to take some potshots on you. Make sure to dodge their red attack!

Keep heading along the path, killing the Nightsisters (again), and when you're able to, walk along the branches that are sticking out of the cliff. When you've jumped across to the second branch, Pull at the gate so you can get into the tilted house.

When you're on the second floor of the house, you'll need to Wall Run to make it to the far platform. In the next area, you can take a life to a shortcut and a chest. Do so, then head back up. Have BD-1 scan the wall paintings, and you'll have to fight more Nightbrothers.

In the next area, after killing the enemies, take the higher path. When you get to the gate, Push it down, then Wall Run on it while it's pushed up. With that, you'll be at another Meditation Point.

In this next section, move forward quickly so you don't take too much damage from the ranged enemies, then drop down into the next area. You'll need to fight a Lesser Nydak, which at this point in the game is a relatively normal enemy.

If you parry a lot, you'll throw the beast off balance.

When the Lesser Nydak is dead, head into the small area and spot the cage. Push it until you're back into the main area, and then Push it against the wall so you can climb out.

Push through the weakened wall, when squeeze through the small area. Now you'll be at the Nightbrothers' village, but you won't go busting through their home just yet.

Pull the bridge down, and the Nightbrothers will close the gates and start raining bullets down on you. Sprint across the bridge, then hang a hard left to a cave. Slide down, and you'll end up in the actual swamp.

Navigating the Swamp of Sacrifice

Video Guide - Part 23

You'll have to walk around a bit to find the semi-hidden cave up to higher ground where there's a Meditation Point. Keep moving, and eventually the only way to go is to jump down.

This is a kind of big area. The farthest path from where you started will have a chest and something for BD-1 to scan. The middle path will have another chest, and a Force Echo.

When you're ready, climb up the flora and cross the area with the branch. Continue on the high road until you can't anymore, and drop down for a chest and the way forward.

Push the rock and climb on up to see a large creature. Thankfully it's not coming to mess with you yet. Kill the Nightbrothers, then move to the left. You'll come across more undead sisters, so kill them too and cut the nearby rope for a shortcut.

Head into the cave for a Meditation Point. Make sure to rest up, as that giant creature from earlier is coming for a visit.

Tips for Defeating Gorgara

Gorgara is huge, and you'll need to mainly slash its legs for dealing damage. It's pretty fast for its size, so be careful and use Slow to get in safely. Occasionally Gorgara will sly up and send wind blasts your way, so dodge those. When it comes down Gorgara will also cause ground tremors, which you'll need to flip over.

Eventually, Gorgara will leave at about a quarter health. You'll be able to now examine the Nightbrother corpse, and get a new upgrade--the Climbing Gloves.

Getting to the Tomb of Kujet

Video Guide - Part 24

With the Climbing Gloves, not only can you climb faster, but you can also climb surfaces you couldn't before. Use this to your advantage to climb up the wall you're standing next to.

Squeeze through the next area, and you'll finally be back on the upper levels of Dathomir. Walk along the branches for a Meditation Point, then look to the left and climb up the wall.

Don't do jump climbs anymore--with the Climbing Gloves it's faster to not do that.

But there's a problem--Gorgara is back! Don't stop climbing, and quickly get to the top of the cliff. It doesn't matter much, though, as Gorgara will pick you up. Cal will stab Gorgara enough to drop him, and it'll begin a sequence of falling through the air and trying to land on the beast's back.

Do this three times, and eventually Gorgara will crash, killing it but keeping you intact. Turn to the right and head up the stairs, then climb the wall. Defeat the Nightbrothers in your way, when Pull at each gate.

You'll need to very quickly Wall Run along the gates to get across, then Jedi Flip to clear the next jump. Finally, climb up, and then climb down and hang from the branch to sneak into the Nightbrother's village.

At the fork, head to the left for a chest and a Force Echo, then go right and squeeze through the small passage. Walk along the branch and climb up to a Meditation Point.

You're now in the village proper. Make your way to the large blue gate at the other side of the village. The Nightbrothers will close the gate, but you'll have another way to get inside.

Nearby, there's a cage, similar to the one from earlier. Push it over to the gate, then Flip up to grab a handhold and pull yourself up into the window.

Keep heading along the passage, and eventually you'll need to balance on some planks to go forward. Do so, and cut the nearby rope for a shortcut. Then, continue a bit and find a different rope to climb, and you'll see the Mantis! You're finally just about back to where you've started, which means Kujet's Tomb is within reach.

Turn to the left and squeeze through the passage, and you'll find a door to open for a shortcut back to the area near where you met the Wanderer. He's not there anymore, But go ahead and Flip over the pit and climb the wall you weren't able to before.

Head into Kujet's Tomb and head to the door inside. You won't be able to get in, but a Meditation Point will appear right behind you. Meditate for a flashback sequence on the fateful day Order 66 was enacted.

Memory - Order 66

Video Guide - Part 25
The flashback sequence is a little long, but it's straightfoward. Complete your training, and then escape from the ship!

After the sequence, you'll be face to face with Cal's old master. Take a few swipes at him, but you won't be able to hurt him. Eventually, Cal will snap out of his trance, but not before breaking his lightsaber. Now defenseless, the only thing you can do is head out of the tomb, defeated.

After you head out, you'll meet the Wanderer again, who will reveals his true identity--Taron Malicos, former Jedi. He attempts to get Cal to help him with what could only being something nafarious, but the Nightsister intervenes, less than pleased with Malicos betraying her.

She sends the undead sisters after the both of you, but without a lightsaber, you can't defend yourself. Make a mad dash for the Mantis, dodging the zombies whenever they try to grab you.

Once back on the Mantis and away from the immediate danger, Cal and Cere will have a talk about what to do next. It's time to head to Ilum and the Jedi Temple, so Cal can repair his lightsaber.

Summary[]

N/A

Part 1[]

The Swamps of Dathomir

Cal and BD nearly made it to the next tomb when they were ambushed by Nightbrothers. While the two were safe, they were forced to wander through the dangerous Dathomirian swamps. They were once again found by the Nightsister Merrin who began raising Undead Nightsisters to attack them as they raveled. Inside a dark cave, BD found Climbing Claws on a Nightbrother corpse - just as the dreaded Gorgara snatched them into an aerial battle, culminating in a crash that killed the bat-like beast.

Part 2[]

Shadow Of The Master

Cal and BD found their way to the ruins, where Cal faced a dark version of Jaro Tapal. This phantom shattered Cal's lightsaber, leaving him defenseless. Cal and BD fled the ruin, running into the Wanderer. He revealed himself as Taron Malicos, a former Jedi now studying the dark side. Malicos asked Cal to join his quest for power, but was cut off by Merrin. She raised the horde of undead to destroy him and Cal. Cal and BD rushed back to the Mantis. After Cal's confession about Order 66, Cere says it's time for him to build his own lightsaber.

Part 3[]

Reforged

Cere gifted Cal her lightsaber hilt, though her kyber crystal had been sold long ago to pay for Greez's debts. Inside the saves, Cal followed the call of his crystal through a crack in an ice wall.

Part 4[]

The Escape

On their way out of the caves, Cal discovered a massive Imperial mining operation on Ilum - designed to extract the planet's kyber crystals.

Part 5[]

Part 6[]

A New Ally

Merrin allowed Cal to pass, warning that Malicos was ahead. Malicos tried one last time to turn Cal, but attacked when he refused. It appeared Malicos would win but Merrin intervened, blasting Malicos with magick.
