I've recently purchased 5 Lenovo M700 desktop PC's, so I tried upgrading the RAM's on one of the PC's I removed one or the RAMs from the other PC and slotted it into the other one so when I booted up there was 3 beeps and one long beep sound and there is also no display on the screen. I tried putting the RAM back to the other PC and that too is having issue.
Don't know what to do now.??

That beep code is a problem with the memory dimms. I would guess they probably aren't pressed in far enough. Set them at a 45 degree angle and then when pressed in tightly they push down flat. Those Lenovo M series are a pain because you have to remove the hard drives to get to the memory slots.

Better case, they are not seated as well can they could be. Related, could have introduced a mismatch if there was already a RAM module there.Brian1990 wrote:

Worse case, RAM got damaged in the moved. Unfortunate, but happens.

Do they repeat (like ...-,...-,...-)? If not, it could be a graphics card issue. That, if it's integrated, could be because of faulty RAM modules.
