Jeroline Whitaker, 89, of West Columbia, South Carolina passed away May 20, at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia. She was born on November 15, in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Harold L. Mims and Pearl Edney.
Jeroline loved her family.
Jeroline is survived by her son, Brian Lee Whitaker and his wife, Tasca Cecelia Whitaker; her two grandchildren, Delia Jeroline Hinson and Donald Blaine Hinson, Jr. and his spouse; son-in-law, Christopher Adkinson; nephews, Brantley Davis, Steve Davis and Joey Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty years, Harold T. Whitaker, Sr., her son, Teddy Whitaker; her daughter, Victoria Blaine Whitaker; her half-brother, Harold Lee Mims, Jr.; her sister, Mildred Davis; and her three nephews.
The family will receive friends and family at the Graveside Service on Tuesday, May 28, at p.m. in Elmwood Memorial Gardens, Elmwood Ave., Columbia, SCTo send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Jeroline Whitaker, please visit Tribute Store

Barbara Kramer — Buried my Mother in Sept Still waiting on headstone. Gravesites/grounds are not maintained as we were told they would be. Grass overgrown and weeds starting. Very sad. Our family is very disappointed!

They can't get paperwork done in timely manner. Nor can they pick up body in a timely manner. They won't keep you updated. JRue Bob — Ordered tombstone with Cameo July 7th for my deceased Aunt. We paid for this and still waiting. Absolutely ridiculous to go visit her gravesite and see nothing still. I was living in London and invited a friend of mine, with whom I had a rather serious relationship, to spend the evening together at my house.
